Lis Wiehl is an American lawyer and writer who previously worked as an analyst for Fox News analyst.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School. Before that she was an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary for National Public Radio program and the Bill O'Reilly radio show, The Radio Factor. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, The Imus morning programs, and hosts her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl she was born and grew up in Yakima within Washington State, matriculated in Yakima from West Valley High School. She completed her studies at Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree at the age of 33 in. In 1985, she was awarded her master of Arts degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she earned an Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl served as a US attorney in the United States. The correspondent was a lawyer on NPR's All Things Considered. She was "the deputy chief investigative counsel for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." She worked as a law professor with tenure in the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. Wiehl served as an Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 until 2017.
