Niykee who's had many a hectic few years which included being chosen by Snoop to sing with him on the YouTube Brandcast May 2013 Niykee keeps a steady songwriting schedule despite this. Young producer has been fascinated by Niykee. She always tries out new beats. A lot of them inspire songs. She states that she can discern if a beat is great in only five minutes. After that, a fresh song will pop into her brain. My guitar sits on the porch, and I'll let my words flow. Most of the time, it's done in less than thirty minutes. Niykee says that as she grows as a lyricist, the painful memories of her childhood are an source of inspiration. She says that even when she's not writing about the things which have actually happened every ache from childhood and loss of her sister find it's way into her music. The music I write is shaped by it and I am able to see the bigger picture beneath all of it. It's among the things that is most significant for me.
