Emily Swallow

The career of Swallow began with Broadway theater, where she appeared in several performances. This comprised High Fidelity and King Lear at the Guthrie Theater. Other productions are Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park. And the off-Broadway premieres Romantic Poetry and Measuring for Pleasure. Her film debut came in 2008, with the war film The Lucky Ones. Swallow was in the premiere at Los Angeles Geffen Playhouse of Donald Margulies play The Country House. The Guthrie Theatre she played opposite Mark Rylance as Nice Fish by Louis Jenkins. In 2010, she won the Falstaff Award as the best female performer in the world for her part as the Taming of the Shrew. The Taming of the Shrew. Swallow as well as Jac huberman performed in a Jac N Swallow stage show in New York, at both the Laurie Beeckman Theater & Joe's Pub on December 4 in 2012. She starred in The Mentalist, playing FBI agent Kim Fischer. One year later, she was a part of the eleventh season of Supernatural as the brand new character Amara, "the Darkness". In 2019, she'll assume the role of Armorer who is the leader of traditionalist Mandalorians as seen in Star Wars' The Mandalorian. Since the traditionalists don't wear helmets anymore and her face is not recognized.
