He was often criticized in school and, being an avid Spider-Man fan, he identified himself as Spider-Man's alter ego, Peter Parker. He attended several schools such as Priory Preparatory School, City of London Freemen's School, Central School of Speech and Drama as well as the University of London, from which he graduated from in 2004. The interest in acting began as he realized that he did not desire to further study business anymore. He started his professional acting career in 2005 on the British TV show called "Sugar Rush". In the film "Boy A", he played a troubled young boy that was seeking to re-build his life after spending years in jail. As the star of "The Social Network" as well, he appeared as a leading character in the film "The Amazing Spider-Man" In 2016, He was selected to play actor in the role of lead in the historical drama "Silence." Many awards were presented to him, including the BAFTA Award and Tony Award. The actor also won an A.A.C.T.A. He received the 'Best Actor Award for his performance in "Hacksaw Ridge".
