Alex Flanagan
She earned her degree from her school, the University of Arizona, and Salpointe Catholic High School. She has worked for on the NFL Network, as an anchor/reporter. For NBC Sports she is a reporter on the sidelines of some of the Notre Dame Football home matches and Football Night in America. Flanagan is heard and watched in the cult games on video Madden 10 and Madden 11 as host of an in-game weekly recap show along with Fran Charles. Alex hails from Sonoita, Arizona. Her husband is an ex- University of Arizona basketball player Kevin Flanagan. They have two daughters as well as a son. Alex's family owns the Arizona steakhouses "The Steak Out" (located in Sonoita) and Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her journalism career while in college. She was an intern at KVOA-TV. She began reporting sports in 1998. Flanagan has been with NBC Sports NFL Network ESPN as well as Fox Sports. In addition, she was part in the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. After graduation Flanagan secured her first television job. She was an assignment-based news reporter and weekend anchor at KCCO-TV located in Alexandria, Minnesota. As part of this job she worked for WSFA-TV Montgomery Alabama.
