The Horizon Award is a special award from the Joint Leadership of the United States Congress and the Congressional Award Board of Directors. The Horizon Award is presented to people from the private sector who have helped to expand possibilities for all Americans through their own personal achievements, and have set exemplary examples for the next generation of young people with their accomplishments in their lives. Tom was a wonderful co-player, grateful to be in such a talented and experienced group. He was able to practice and playing with a lot of enthusiasm when his Magnum schedule permitted .... He was accommodating to all of us and we all enjoyed the large crowd that replaced our typical tiny group of spouses and friends at the national tourney games. ".
