
Salma Hayek Pinault (born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jimmyenezon 2 September 1966)[3][4][5[3][4][5) is an American and Mexican actress. In Mexico, she began her career with the role as Teresa in the television series (1989-1991), as well as El Callejon de los Milagros (1995) in which she received an Ariel Award. From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999), Dogma (1999) and Desperado (1995) were but some of her many Hollywood credits. Hayek's portrayal of Frida Kahlo as a painter, in Frida (2002) which was a biographical film she wrote and produced which earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[66. The actress also earned her Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. Later on, Hayek focused more on producing while starring in action-oriented films like Once Upon a Time in Mexico
